Today, Ubisoft revealed the first trailer for the highly anticipated VR game Assassin’s Creed Nexus. The trailer shows Ratonhnhaké:ton (Connor) from Assassin’s Creed 3, Kassandra from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Ezio from Assassin’s Creed 2.
The trailer gives us a better idea of what we will do and how it will work on the Meta Quest. The trailer is what you’d expect from a game about playing as one of the familiar Assassin. Today showcases how you’ll climb buildings, jumping from one roof to another and solving puzzles. Surprisingly, combat seems to indicate there will be some freedom to the mechanic and the use of the hidden blade, sword, and bow and arrow are all there.
Will we be using an Apple of Eden, though?
Years ago, Ubisoft signed an exclusivity deal with Meta, which now seems no longer valid. Whether or not Assassin’s Creed Nexus lands on PCVR or PS VR2 is something fans are likely wondering. Hopefully, this deal with Meta is a timed-exclusivity deal, and more people can enjoy Assassin’s Creed in VR.
Ubisoft confirmed the release date for November 16 on Meta Quest.
