After revealing last year that Aspyr was working on Restored Content for the Switch version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords, an update provided reveals Aspyr no longer is working on the DLC.
A tweet from the developer revealed the news last week, announcing that the content would be nixed and in its place, those affected would receive a free game with proof of purchase.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords launched incomplete and fans never stood by what they got at launch. There have been attempts at restoring the content on PC via The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod never anything official. That was of course, until Aspyr revealed they would do to restore the content Obsidian left out.
Aspyr provided a list of games available for those affected by the cancellation and while it isn’t the ending many wanted, the consolation of another game being offered seems like a fair compensation given the situation.
