Publisher Fictions and developer Counterplay Games are set to release a limited-time demo for Armatus, a roguelite third-person shooter.
The demo features you playing as “the last supernatural warrior of an ancient order,” taking on a demon-infested version of Paris. Armatus features tons of weapons, upgrades, and abilities as you fight, die, and repeat to uncover the perfect gear combination. The demo ends with a boss battle against a greater demon called The Monument.
Armatus is a significant departure from Counterplay Games’ Godfall, the PlayStation 5 launch title.
You can check out the demo through Steam Next Fest, which runs from February 23 to March 2, 2026.
Armatus will launch on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC this year.
