Yesterday’s State of Play, which can be viewed HERE, showcased many new exciting upcoming releases that we can’t wait to get our hands on. Aside from the excitement of the new footage from The Last of Us Part II, Arise: A Simple Story was definitely the highlight of the show for me.
Developed by Piccolo, Arise: A Simple Story begins with your character at the pyre, but shortly after awakens in a frozen environment, which is either a limbo-type area, or the afterlife. It is clear that his journey will be to seek out and retrieve the shiny object atop the peak that is far in the distance. He will have to traverse various biomes and overcome numerous hazards in order to reach his goal.
I look forward to exploring the beautiful world that Arise: A Simple Story has in store in the near future as we wait for a release date on PS4.
