Apple Arcade gets a little more Canadian this week as Hemisphere Games’s 12-year-old but recently named Apple Design Award winner and iPad Game of the Year Osmos+ comes to Apple Arcade. Part Katamari Damacy part survival game, Osmos is a great, little cozy game. This special version offers the original “Odyssey” campaign, “Arcade” mode, and multiplayer with other Apple players.
Games with new content this week include:
- Jetpack Joyride+ — The St. Patrick’s Day event is here. Join Barry on some chaotic green fun to unlock new St. Patrick’s-themed costumes, including the Celtic Lord Grab, Runestone Jetpack, and Celtic Rune Dragon.
- Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure — Adds an all-new mini-game, Scarlett’s River Raft Rescue, along with 60 new puzzles and updates to Treasure Trove items and the Weekly Temple Tournament.
- MasterChef: Let’s Cook! — Get cooking with a brand new mini-game (Blend) and several new unique recipes.
- Simon’s Cat — Story Time — Introduces 25 new puzzles and Search Party, a new daily timed event featuring Cat and Mr. Potts. Cat has sneaked into Mr. Potts’ shed and taken his gardening tools, and a hat or two. Mr. Potts is furious and is searching for the items scattered throughout the gardens.
- Taiko no Tatsujin Pop Tap Beat — Try out five brand new song, including “H.T” the opening theme to the popular anime TRIGUN.
- Gear. Club Stradale — Check out the new Challenge of the Day, Competition Frenzy. Also, the update kicks off the latest Super Carta in-game event, where players can win a McLaren MC12 if their club completes 100% of the Carta. Clubs that have not completed the Carta will receive a discount on the purchase of the car via the in-game currency in the amount of the effort they have made.
- Badland Party — Jump into five new levels in the Singularity level pack and ten new online challenge levels. This update also adds ten new character skins and 50 new stickers to unlock.
- Castle Crumble — Introduces new challenge zones with new prizes and achievements.
