Apex Legends, A New Battle Royale From Respawn Is Out Now

Just like that, the swirling rumours were true! Respawn Entertainment revealed that Apex Legends, a free-to-play battle royale is out now and it takes place within the Titanfall universe!

Apex Legends is a squad-based shooter so you’ll be teaming up as a team of three. The main map is called Kings Canyon, and from what we’ve learned, Respawn plans on more maps in the future. There are eight character classes to choose from, those of which you’ll have to unlock by playing the game.

While Apex Legends is set within the Titanfall universe, this game takes place roughly 30 years after the conclusion of Titanfall 2, distancing itself from the previous two entries by leaving out mechs and focusing on it’s characters. As this game is free-to-play, there is of course, monetization to be found throughout the game, however, I’m not sure how deep they are implemented. Be wary when playing of these things.

Apex Legends is available now on PS4, and Xbox One, and PC.
