Anycubic Launches The Photon Mono M5s

The First Consumer Grade Leveling-free 12K Resin Printer

Anycubic’s launching the Photon Mono M5s, the first consumer-grade 12K resin printer with impressive features, including a levelling-free solution and a fast printing scheme.

The Photon Mono M5s has a 10.1-inch monochrome LCD screen featuring a stunning 11520×5120 resolution, making it the first 12K 3D printer at the consumer level. This means the ultra-high-resolution screen allows you to print models with “microscopic precision” down to 19μm. Essentially, expect to print some of the most incredible things filled with the tiniest details!

What I find rather impressive is the levelling-free solution the Photon Mono 5s includes. Using mechanical sensors to detect and adjust the fit automatically and the print platform and floating levelling module eliminates the need to manually levelling your prints. By including this feature, there are fewer chances the printing process will fail and lose work hours.

Leveling-Free

“Leveling is a common and sometimes tricky step for beginners when using a resin printer,” says James Ouyang, Vice President of Anycubic. “To make the printing experience even more user-friendly and hassle-free, we have integrated the levelling-free solution into our consumer-grade resin printer.”

How about printing three times faster with your Anycubic Photon Mono M5s? The technology powering the 3D printer can print at triple the efficiency, with an average printing speed of 105mm/h. This is achieved by incorporating the high-speed resin, a customized 3rd gen release film, and Anycubic’s upgraded Photon Workshop 3.1 software, reducing printing time by up to 74 percent.

Smart-and-Easy-printing

The Photon Mono M5s also has a new monitoring system to ensure a high printing success rate. Using three practical modules, including hardware examination, resin detection, and printing detection. Before you print, the Photon Mono M5 checks the screen, mechanical detection module, and motor are correctly connected and functioning. Then, the printer confirms you have enough resin in the vat to print the model you’re about to work on, eliminating interruptions due to resin depletion. Throughout the printing process, the Photon Mono M5s monitors progress in real-time, notifying users of any incidents through the Anycubic App.

3-X-Faster

The Photon Mono M5s 3D printer will be available starting at 10:00 AM EDT on May 22, 2023. Early bird pricing for the US begins at $399, and €399 for Europe.
