Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete Announced, Launches On Mobile In December

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has announced it’s end of service date, with a full version in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete on the way. The mobile game has been running since 2017, with plenty of seasonal and in game updates that fans have enjoyed on the go. Nintendo has announced that online service will be ending for the game on November 28, 2024. The paid subscription and monetization services will also be ending at the same time.

The full paid version will launch a week later, on December 3rd. Existing players will be able to transfer their save data, as long as they have a Nintendo account. Once the full version is purchased, players can bring over their level, relationship levels, camp, items, and bells will all move over. Players will also not be able to interact with friends online anymore, outside of a new Camper Card system. Camper Cards can be created and traded with friends. A new area called Whistle Pass where any friends that you’ve traded Camper Cards with will appear. Friends may give you gifts, and the area will feature daily performances from KK Slider.

Game flow will proceed at a similar pace to the original game, with Leaf Tickets being replaced by earnable Leaf Tokens. New events and items will be added until September 2025, with existing seasonal events running on a 4 year rotation. The game also features a full item catalog, allowing players to get out of season items early by using a complete ticket, available only by playing the game.

For current players, Nintendo has also announced The Last Event, bringing online service to a close. The final event will feature in-game gifts, friend gifts, and special memories for anyone who plays the game until the end.

On launch, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will cost 19.99 USD/24.99 CAD, with an introductory offer of $9.99 USD/12.99 CAD running until January 31st. Players can pre-order on Apple and Google Play now.
