Among Us TV Series Coming From Infinity Train Creator

Hopefully this isn't "sus" and sneaks its way into reality

Gather up the crew and sus out the alien shapeshifter, Innersloth and CBS Studios are producing a cartoon TV series based on Among Us. The ever-popular and expanding game saw massive growth in the last few years, in part to the easy-to-pick-up-and-play mechanics for gamers of all walks of life when the pandemic hit in 2020.

Now with a production team mainly in place, it looks like the little space explorers and sneaky aliens are headed to your TV screen in a different capacity.

Initially reported by Variety, the show will share the same concept as the Among Us game: some crew members have been replaced by shapeshifters, and it’s now time to put a stop to the imposter before they wreak havoc and take you down one by one.

It’s a nice and simple premise that works in the game, and I could see it working well in an animated series. Think of Clue but with more silly, cartoon-like kills and scenarios. The animation team can go pretty wild with this one if they can.

Speaking of the team, we know that Owen Dennis, creator of Infinity Train, will serve as creator and executive producer on the project. Titmouse, known for their work on Big Mouth and Star Trek: Lower Decks, will be the animation studio. On top of that, several Innersloth staff will be involved in creating the show based on their game.

It’s unclear what tone the series will take, but with Infinity Train and Big Mouth teams involved, we could see another adult cartoon hitting streaming services. There’s also no confirmed service or network for the Among Us show.
