Genshin Impact launched version 2.0 this week, bringing with it the new nation of Inazuma to discover, along with that, miHoYo is working with PlayStation on its first collaboration. It’s a crossover I never expected but I’m here for it.
miHoYo revealed that the star of Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West will be a free character. This is the first character outside of Honkai Impact, the other game from miHoYo.
While there are no details other than confirmation, aside from a description of Aloy’s backstory. We do know, however, that she will be available for a limited time, is a five-star character, and uses the cryo elemental. PlayStation owners simply need to log in to the game on their console when version 2.1 becomes available and she will be in your mailbox.
She will also be available to use on mobile and PC thanks to version 2.0’s new cross-save and she will grant you access to a new bow.

The event will be divided into two phases. All Travelers who have reached Adventure Rank 20 or above will be able to obtain Aloy via mailbox.
〓Phase I〓
After the Version 2.1 Update – Start of Version 2.2 Update Maintenance (October 13, 2021, 05:59 UTC+8)
During the event, all Travelers who log into Genshin Impact on the PlayStation®4 or PlayStation®5 system will be able to obtain Aloy directly through in-game mail.
〓Phase II〓
After the Version 2.2 Update – Start of Version 2.3 Update Maintenance (November 24, 2021, 05:59 UTC+8)
During the event, Travelers who log into Genshin Impact on any available platform, and who have yet to obtain the character during Phase I will be able to obtain Aloy directly through in-game mail.
