Remedy Entertainment has announced it is moving Alan Wake 2‘s release date from October 17 to October 27. The reasoning is due to October being jam-packed with high-calibre releases.
An update from the Alan Wake 2 team: we're moving Alan Wake 2's launch from October 17 to October 27.
October is an amazing month for game launches and we hope this date shift gives more space for everyone to enjoy their favorite games.

“ October is an amazing month for game launches and we hope this date shift gives more space for everyone to enjoy their favorite games.
We can’t wait to show you what everyone’s favorite novelist is up to in the Dark Place next week. Thanks for your patience,” the tweet indicates.
Saga Anderson (played by Melanie Liburd – This is Us, Bad Boys 4, Game of Thrones) is known for solving “impossible cases” and heading out to Bright Falls in the Pacific Northwest. It isn’t long before things become a living nightmare, and Anderson soon happens upon pages of a horror story that become fiction, leaving it up to Anderson to bridge how things are connected to Alan Wake, a missing writer.
