Some of the best minds in horror and thriller storytelling over the last decade are working together at the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival. Alan Wake 2 and Remedy Entertainment’s Sam Lake and TV and movie mastermind Mike Flanagan will sit down for a talk about interactive storytelling on June 13th.
Alan Wake: Building A World of Fear is set to be a chance to hear the two creators talk shop about their experiences leading up to the release of Alan Wake 2. Lake was the first game’s lead writer and is Remedy’s creative director. He’s not only the literal face of Max Payne; his likeness was also featured in the most recent trailer for the sequel.
Flanagan has been a significant player in horror TV and movies for some time now. Some of his most recent work was created with Netflix with The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass, two critically acclaimed series.
Right now, the sit-down with Lake and Flanagan will only be in person at Tribeca, and it kicks off on June 13 at 8 PM ET in New York. But until then, Remedy has opened its doors a little bit with a behind-the-scenes series that is now available.
Alan Wake 2 is set to launch on October 17 for PC on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles.
