The updated Xbox leadership team continues to evolve as Sarah Bond recently came into a new position alongside several other executives within Microsoft, including Matt Booty, who now oversees ZeniMax and Bethesda.
Hartman began his career with Turn-10 in 2005, where he helped ship several titles. Over the last few years, Hartman moved on to work as corporate vice president of Forza and Fable, the latter title being developed in the same engine used for Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon.
Last month, Microsoft closed a deal with Activision Blizzard worth $69 billion. This now brings franchises like Diablo, Overwatch, Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, Tony Hawk, and many more to Xbox.
