Piccolo Studio and Private Division Are giving us a minute of gameplay from their surreal-looking platformer After Us — which is popping out of TV screens and PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on May 23rd.
After Us marries emotional storytelling with platforming exploration through a surrealistic world seemingly post-Armageddon, it’s one where humans have become apathetic nude statues, and Gaia, the Spirit of Life, must jump, glide, dash, wallride, and swim to bring plant life back to this grey world.
Today’s trailer also gives us a first look at just a few of the over 100 animal spirits Gaia can employ to help her solve puzzles — including a cat and a majestic stag.
