Nintendo has announced that the upcoming remake of Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp has been delayed. The decision to delay the game from its intended release on April 8 is due to the ongoing world events in Ukraine.
In light of recent world events, we have made the decision to delay Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, which was originally scheduled to release on Nintendo Switch on April 8th. Please stay tuned for updates on a new release date.

In October, Nintendo delayed the launch from December 3 to Spring 2022 as the game needed “more time for fine-tuning.” However, given that the current world events are devastating and ongoing, the decision to delay the game, one that focuses on war, should be delayed. Delaying a game is never the easiest decision but it certainly is the right one in this case.
Nintendo has offered no new release date given no one knows how long the conflict in Russia will go on.
