Nintendo has announced that Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, a remake of both Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising, is no longer set to launch this December 3, as it “needs a little more time for fine-tuning.”
Instead, it looks like the game has moved to a Spring 2022 window giving the developers more time to fine-tune and address any lingering issues the project may have.
While it is disappointing, we need to be understanding of developers working remotely on any project. The pandemic isn’t over yet and it is still doing no favours for businesses that usually have most employees under one roof. The logistics behind trying to coordinate development from a dozen or more remote locations isn’t the easiest task for management.
