A Plague Tale: Requiem is set to launch next month with Amicia and Hugo de Rune returning to tell us another dark tale.
The follow-up A Plague Tale: Innocence is from Asobo Studio with Focus Entertainment set to publish the project. Today’s trailer focuses on the story elements of Requiem and it certainly seems like it will be a memorable experience from the preview.
Setting out to a new island with the hope of finding a cure for what ails Hugo, the siblings must rely on themselves once again and some new friends they meet along the way. This is new territory for both de Rune children and it will be a challenge to survive while also ensuring they trust the right people.
One thing that stands out in the trailer is that Amicia is now equipped with a crossbow and Hugo is able to control the rat hordes to some degree. We’ll see what other surprises Asobo Studios has in store for us on October 18, 2022.
