A Plague Tale: Requiem

A Plague Tale: Requiem Launches In October

Asobo Studio wants you to know that your October is likely to be packed with great games for you to play. I say this because today the developers and publisher Focus Entertainment have revealed they are releasing A Plague Tale: Requiem on October 18.

Alongside the release date, we got a whole 10 minutes of new gameplay footage and Requiem looks incredible.

The extended gameplay demo features Amicia and Hugo once again as they maneuver and avoid soldiers out to capture them in an ochre-red quarry. Given this is a sequel, we see some of the new abilities and tricks the sibling duo can use to ensure their survival and safety from threats and any danger they may face.

During the countdown today, two tracks of the game’s soundtrack, composed by Olivier Derivière and featuring the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir were heard — you can listen to them here and pick them up for purchase if you wish.

For those playing on PC, Asobo Studio confirms it is working with NVIDIA to add RTX features including Ray Tracing and DLSS.

If you’re interested in the sequel but haven’t played A Plague Tale: Innocence then head over to Xbox Game Pass and queue a download as it is included with Game Pass.

A Plague Tale: Requiem will release on October 18 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC and in Cloud Version on Nintendo Switch. The game will also be available on Day One with Xbox Game Pass for Console, PC and Cloud.
