Leaks are coming from everywhere for this year’s E3. the latest comes from E3 Coliseum and this one is set to reveal the future of the Darksiders franchise. The panel in which the developers will discuss the direction the series is header is slated for Thursday, June 13, 2010 at 1:30 PM EST.
On the page, the description says this:
“A discussion about the inception of the Darksiders universe and where it’s headed next. This panel will coincide with the E3 2019 unveil of a brand new Darksiders game that takes the franchise in a fresh direction. This is a panel discussion about the art and business of creating and maintaining an action adventure franchise rich in-game and corporate lore.”
Curiously, the fresh direction is what is piquing the interest of those who’ve noticed the tidbit on the page. While it could very well go in many directions, my guess is a four-player co-op game where all of the Four Horsemen are playable. Likely, this is the culmination of the previous three games coming together to close the chapter that began in 2010, with the original Darksiders.
