There Were Over 9 Billion Deaths In Elden Ring In One Year

Last month was the one-year anniversary of FromSoftware and Bandai Namco‘s Elden Ring.

As part of celebrations, the publisher put together an infographic with some of the most frustrating moments players have faced in the year since launching.

Not surprisingly in the slightest,  players have attempted to defeat Malenia, Blade of Miquella, a whopping 329 million times. In the second place, players have attempted to beat Margit the Fell Omen 281 million times. In third place, Limgrave Tree Sentinel 277 million times, Radagon of the Golden Order in fourth place at 148 million, and in fifth place, Starscourge Radahn at 139 million. Counting all bosses in Elden Ring, players have fought through 5.9 billion attempts.

Looking at the Top 5 Spells Cast, the most popular spell cast is Rock Sling, then Crystal Torrent, and then Glintstone Pebble. In regards to incantations, Blessing of the Erdtree is the most acquired magic, with Bestial Sting and Golden Vow in second and third respectively. One billion summons have been called into battle, with 88 percent of sessions focusing on co-op and 12 percent focusing on involving other players.

I’m not surprised in the slightest players had issues facing off against NPCs and enemies. There was many instances where I was minding my own business when an enemy caught me off-guard and wiped the floor with me. I’m a bit surprised so few people invaded the games of other players, though. It was a highlight for me when I made my way to a host world only to surprise a duo and slay them.
