It is once again time for Ubisoft’s Indie Series!
2023’s iteration is again presented with funding from National Bank, a great yearly supporter for the past few of these I’ve covered.
Past Indie Series winners Kitten Cup Studio, Achimostawinan Games and Vivid Foundry have successfully released new games this year to high praise from players and reviewers, including Pekoe, Hill Agency: PURITY decay and Solace State: Emotional Cyberpunk Stories.
Applications are now open for Ontario indie studios with less than 50 employees! You can apply until Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 11:59 PM ET.
This year’s prize pool provides a $50,000 grant, free personalized financial diagnosis and counsel, entrepreneurial training from National Bank, 30 hours of mentorship supplied by Ubisoft experts, marketing support, and internal and external communications activities.
There is also National Bank’s Special Prize, which is picked solely by the bank’s team of judges and offers $25,00, plus the training from National Bank and 30 hours of mentorship provided by Ubisoft experts.
