Destruction AllStars

2021’s First State of Play Is All About Destruction AllStars

Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Lucid Games have released a new seven-minute look at next week‘s Destruction AllStars. The multiplayer arena car-brawler will be free for two months according to Sony.

You can check the video above, and we have a pretty decent idea of the game and its modes that you’ll be able to tackle when the game goes live next week.

In Mayhem, you’ll see it’s essentially classic deathmatch playable in both scrolo (their words) and teams. You’ll “deal damage and wreck as many opponents as you can in the time limit.” The idea is to get the highest score and you can control the chaos by finding the right balance between being in your vehicle and character action.

Or if you want to try Carnado, it’s another mode you can play. The idea centres around risk and reward to earn Gears (AllStars’ collectable in-game items) by wrecking enemies. You’ll have to sacrifice your vehicle by driving straight into the Carnado to earn points, and on foot, steal cars or get a new vehicle.
